Description
With *Faust, fait non dit*, Romeo Castellucci offers a radical reinterpretation of the Faust myth. Even before the pact with Mephistopheles, Faust is already confronting nothingness, the crisis of language, and the separation of words and things.
Through images, silence, the body, physicality, and Scott Gibbons’s music, Castellucci transforms the stage into a mental space permeated by visions. Far from adapting Goethe literally, he reveals the character’s invisible fractures and creates a sensory meditation on knowledge, the sacred, and representation.
