Description
Starting Wednesday, June 17, Sussargues kicks off the metropolitan area’s festival season! The festivities will kick off at 7:30 p.m. in front of Bar Le Toril with the official opening by the mayor, followed by a festive dance party. As a prelude: an educational workshop, a parade of groups starting from the wine cellar, and a bandido performance by the Vellas ranch.
The festivities will continue over the next two days in the spirit of Camargue traditions: bandidos, bodegas, dance-filled aperitifs, and popular dances.
On Saturday, June 20, the Saint Hubert Hunting Society will host lunch before a full day featuring a long abrivado, a musical aperitif, a pétanque tournament, a bull run, and a dance.
Finally, on Sunday, June 21, it’s time for the traditional “Day of Yesteryear” with lunch, a ferrade, long abrivado, a sparkling wine aperitif, a petanque tournament, bandido, and a closing aperitif to bring the festival to a grand close.
