Description
The first is involved in theater, film, and documentary-inspired installations. The second is a virtuoso and iconoclastic flamenco dancer.
By placing their first names side by side, Mohamed El Khatib and Israel Galván seek to bridge the gaps between their artistic worlds and practices as well as their personal journeys.
Together, they seek a common language rooted in the body, its wounds, and its scars. Taking their meeting as a starting point—and sharing their intimate, family, and professional stories—they explore as a duo what a living archive and a documentary dance might look like.
