Description

French tour Restored in 2019, the Domaine de Bocaud is a green setting in the heart of the town of Jacou, home to both the mediatheque and the town hall. The building has told many stories since it was built in the 17th century by the de Bocaud family, and over the years has become a veritable folly with its 3-hectare park, gardens, terraces and statues. Fountains, a washhouse and an artificial grotto all bear witness to the omnipresence of water. The story of Jacou and its inhabitants, the jacoumards, will be told to better understand the transformation of this former farming village into one of the most dynamic towns in the metropolis. - Meet 10 minutes beforehand in front of the Médiathèque Municipale Michèle Jennepin at 9, Place Frédéric Mistral - Jacou.
