Description

For the thirty-first consecutive year, the Nouveau Sainte Anne Neighborhood Association is organizing the “Soirées Musicales des Nuits de Sainte Anne” on Place Sainte Anne. The program features five musical evenings: June 30, and July 2, 8, 9, and 10, 2026. A diverse and varied lineup, including two evenings in partnership with the JAM: salsa, jazz, swing, a cappella choir, festive and fusion songs, and more. Tuesday, June 30 – 9:00 p.m. A CAPELLA NIGHT Concert with the group SCAT?N?SCRATCH Scat?n?Scratch (a cappella / beatbox) takes you on a journey into a 100% vocal world through an eclectic repertoire blending soul, pop, reggae, and contemporary music. Led by six artists with diverse musical backgrounds, the group offers a rhythmic, funny, and surprising show where vocal harmonies and beatboxing blend energetically—using just one instrument: the voice! Opening act: Jam’Acap is also an a cappella vocal group. Thursday, July 2 – 9:00 p.m. AFRICAN BRASS BAND NIGHT Concert featuring the group AJAMO AJAMO (Afro-Jam-Orchestra) is a themed orchestra based at the Montpellier Jazz School since 2022, which performs with enthusiasm, energy, and generosity covers and original compositions inspired by Nigerian-style Afrobeat from the era of the great Fela Kuti. Under the direction of ethnomusicologist Thomas Vahle, a specialist in the Fulani-Manding flute with 15 years of experience in Mory Kanté’s orchestra Wednesday, July 8 – 9:00 p.m. CUBAN SALSA NIGHT Concert with the band SOMOS GENTE “Somos Gente” is a Cuban band that invites you to discover all the richness and energy of Cuban rhythms. Led by the talented singer Carlos Maikel, the band offers authentic, warm, and undeniably danceable music, made to set hearts racing and bodies moving. Get ready to dance and sing! Thursday, July 9 – 9:00 p.m. NIGHT OF MULTI-CULTURAL MUSIC Concert featuring the band LES BARBEAUX For 20 years now, Les Barbeaux have been crisscrossing the roads of France and Europe, delivering powerful, lively, and eclectic live music. With their Mediterranean identity in tow, these stage devils revisit two decades of creativity, blending festive songs, ska, rock, cumbia, and electro-Balkan influences. A concert like a big, slightly wild family party where everyone and every expression will find their place! Friday, July 10 – 9:00 p.m. CUMBIA AND RUMBA NIGHT Concert with the band QUE TENGO An emerging force on the current scene, Que Tengo is a powerhouse with a genuine heart that beats to convey the energy and emotion of its magnetic Hispanic-Moroccan singer, %C1mbar Gonzalez Bouab. This quartet delivers a stunning blend of Afro-Latin and urban music where cumbia, rumba, and soukous meet the heavy beats of hip-hop and the lyrical power of song.
