Montpellier Nouvelle Mode moves to Halle Tropisme to promote alternatives to fast fashion
This free event invites the general public to discover the many alternatives to fast fashion through a festive, creative and accessible program.
Committed designers, second-hand retailers, associations, social economy structures and textile professionals will be on hand to demonstrate that a different kind of fashion is possible, desirable and already being implemented in our region.
Saturday June 13 (11am - 8pm)
? Opening of the event at 11am by Michaël Delafosse, Mayor of Montpellier and President of Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole, Patrice Canayer, Regional Councillor, Occitanie Region, RECYCL'Occ Textile co-presidents Séverine Foligné and Emmanuel Kasperski
? Village of upcycling brands and creators ;
? Large second-hand village;
? Participatory textile repair, sewing and design workshops;
? Exhibitions and awareness-raising areas;
? Responsible fashion show at 5pm.
