Where to go to the market

In the city centre, or in the districts of Montpellier, each place has its own market with products from the South! Come and stroll between the stalls!

From the Arceaux district to the Place de la Comédie or from Figuerolles to Antigone, you will plunge into the heart of the atmosphere of the southern markets.

Sunny fruit and vegetables, Mediterranean specialities, farm produce, organic produce… Montpellier invites you to one of its colourful markets!

Whether you are an early riser or a late riser, you can stroll through the stalls of our local producers until 1.30 pm.

And don’t forget, the market is not only at the weekend, the city lives to the rhythm of the markets all week long.

Brocante, flea markets, flower markets, farmers’ markets… there are so many themes to explore in the city and find what you are looking for at the best price/quality ratio.

What about going indoors? The market halls in the city centre and in the Mosson district are a great place to visit. These are places to discover both for their architecture and the products on offer!

Lattes, Saint-Jean-de-Védas, Jacou, Lavérune, Castries… Montpellier Metropole invites you to come and enjoy the products of local producers and discover the local atmosphere every day of the week.

On the spotlight: Lattes market

Known throughout the department, every Sunday the market gathers even more people. On Sunday mornings: cheesemongers, butchers, bakers, breeders, craftsmen and farmers meet in a friendly, family atmosphere. Not to be missed!
